Almond Flour Tahini Biscuits
🍏 Wonderfully simple, tasty and still healthy, the ideal snack or post meal treat.
Makes 16
2 cups ground almonds
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup tahini
1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 180C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
2️⃣ Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. It will seem like there is not enough liquid to hold it together but keep going, it will stick. Then use a table spoon to portion out the dough.
3️⃣ Roll each biscuit into a ball and then flatten gently. You can make a criss cross pattern across the top with a fork as I have done. Ensure the biscuits are 1cm or so apart so they don’t join together when cooking.
4️⃣ Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden on top.
